What do you do here at Wright Lab?

I work on 21cm cosmology  with Dr. Laura Newburgh. My current goal is to figure out the systematics of the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) telescope so that we can finally detect the 21cm signal from the data.

What is the most unique and/or exciting experience you’ve had here at Wright Lab?

The sense of community and support.

What are you looking forward to in the coming year at Wright Lab?

Bringing the projects I am working on closer to their logical conclusion.

What is something that people might not know about you that you’d like to share with the community?

I used to cook a special menu once or twice a month for a couple of years at a local restaurant during my Ph.D. I was in charge of the menu, cooking it and presenting it to serve. The restaurant got most of our foot traffic of the month during the days I was headlining.

I enjoy painting and photography immensely. I can play several musical instruments.
