What do you do here at Wright Lab?  I’m a part of professor Karsten Heeger’s group working on the PROSPECT experiment, making precision measurements of neutrinos produced by nuclear reactors. Right now I’m focusing on a joint analysis of the neutrino spectrum between our data and that of another reactor neutrino experiment based in China called Daya Bay.

What is the most unique and/or exciting experience you’ve had here at Wright Lab? The production of the PROSPECT detector was one of the most influential experiences for me at Wright Lab. After roughly a year of producing the internal components for the detector and characterizing all of the photomultiplier tubes for the experiment, we spent another few months assembling the detector and getting it ready to ship to a nuclear reactor to take data.

What is something that people might not know about you that you’d like to share with the community? I’m a huge fan of tabletop games. If you have any favorites or want a recommendation, just let me know!

Where do you like to work remotely? I work at the dining room table in my apartment in East Rock. My faithful companion Mister Whiskers is often by my side.
