Postgraduate project summary:  Worked as a postgraduate radio astronomy researcher at Yale University in the Newburgh Lab, leading instrumentation efforts to build a drone-based interferometric calibration tool. Helfenbein first-authored a publication in Icarus for her research of the Infrared photometry of 5 of Neptune’s moons using data from the Keck Observatory, as well as her research notes publication detailing her program that assists the NASA Astrophysics Research Panel’s search for research experts.
