Talk Title: COHERENT: Using Small Recoils to Look for Big Discoveries Abstract: The COHERENT collaboration is pioneering the study of Coherent Elastic Neutrino-Nucleus Scattering (CEvNS), a process only recently observed. Using the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, COHERENT has deployed a suite of detectors using diverse technologies and targets. This talk will provide an overview of the collaboration’s experimental efforts and status. Beyond the initial measurements of CEvNS, COHERENT’s results have opened new avenues of discovery potential.
