Worked in the Harris Lab from 2017-2021 on experiments using single photon detection to probe quantum states of acoustic waves in a superfluid helium oscillator. Results included:
- Realizing the quantum ground state of the superfluid helium oscillator.
- Demonstrating coherent one/two/three phonon subtraction and addition as well as nonclassical photon-phonon correlations.
- Measuring high-order phonon coherences for thermal acoustic states and for phonon subtracted/added states generated using heralded protocols. Publication: Phys. Rev. Lett. 128, 183601 Patil, Y. S. S., Yu, J., Frazier, S., et al. (2022)
