Wright Lab grad student Cecily Lowe was awarded the Marshall Plan Fellowship, which supports knowledge exchange between Austria and the United States.

Baeza-Rubio, a graduate student in the David Moore Lab, won for “Radioactive Loading for Sterile Neutrino Searches using Optomechanical Sensors”.

Wright Lab’s Tyler Stokes was elected Young DUNE’s Spokesperson Liaison. Young DUNE is the representative body in DUNE for students and postdocs.

The DESI Collaboration will receive the 2026 Lancelot M. Berkeley–New York Community Trust Prize for Meritorious Work in Astronomy.

Three Wright Lab undergraduates were selected by the U.S. DOE for a summer of hands on research and technical trainining at national laboratories.
