Based out of the Department of Physics, the mission of Girls’ Science Investigations (GSI) is to motivate, empower, and interest girls in developing the skills they need to pursue careers in science. In this session, middle schoolers will learn all about the physics of circuits, participate in hands-on activities, and watch a demo show.
Have you ever opened up an old computer or cell phone and looked at the circuits inside? Have you thought about what all those little parts do? In this session, we’ll make paper circuits and play with resistors, light bulbs, LEDs and more. Come join us and make an interactive Holiday card for your person and a buzzing game to play with your friends!
Organizers: Rona Ramos, Caitlin Hansen, and Eunice Beato
