Elise is currently a postdoctoral associate working with Paul Tipton and Sarah Demers on the ATLAS Experiment at CERN. Her research focuses on testing the Standard Model of particle physics, particularly the Higgs boson and how it interacts with tau leptons. She is also involved in the next upgrade of the ATLAS detector for the High-Luminosity LHC phase. Prior to coming to Yale, she earned her PhD at Duke University working with Mark Kruse on the ATLAS Experiment.
