On June 5, Wright Lab held a community coffee hour to welcome student researchers who will be working in Yale Physics, Yale Astronomy and the Yale Quantum Institute (YQI) this summer as part of the annual 9-week Wright Lab summer research program for undergraduates and postgraduates.
Fourteen undergraduate students will be working on research projects this summer at Wright Lab. An additional twenty-four students working in the Astronomy and Physics departments have signed up for the summer research programming provided by Wright Lab.
Furthermore, Wright Lab has partnered with the Hopkins School in New Haven this year to place three of the students in their HARPS (Hopkins Authentic Research Program in Science) program with Wright Lab researchers for internships this summer.
