On February 25, 2021, in conjunction with giving a seminar on “Direct measurement of neutrino mass with the Project 8 experiment” at the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics (KICP) at the University of Chicago, Wright Lab Postdoctoral Associate Pranava Teja Surukuchi was featured in the new KICP podcast series.
For the podcast, Surukuchi was in conversation with Wright Lab alum Danielle Norcini, who is now a KICP and Grainger Fellow, developing low-threshold detectors to search for dark matter and measure neutrino properties. Norcini and Surukuchi discussed Surukuchi’s work in experimental neutrino physics, advice for PhD students, and his favorite things about Chicago from his time at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he received his Ph.D.
