Shelly Lesher, professor of physics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, who was a Yale Presidential Fellow in residence at Wright Lab for the 2019-20 academic year, has been featured in an interview series for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) called “Responding to COVID-19: Science and Human Rights,” where she mentioned the work Wright Lab has been engaged in to support the University’s COVID-19 response, including assisting in the production of ventilators and working with local hospitals.

The series website explains, “AAAS Scientific Responsibility, Human Rights and Law Program staff have been conducting interviews with thought leaders on science and human rights, in which they share their answers to frequently asked questions about the pandemic’s human rights implications.”
