Yale Pathways to Science High School Summer Scholars tour Wright Lab

For the second year, twenty-six high school students and two teaching assistants from the Yale Pathways to Science Summer Scholars toured Wright Laboratory (Wright Lab) on July 17, 2019.   The group was given a general tour of the Wright Lab facilities by Program Manager Victoria Misenti, then split into three groups for rotating tours of the Advanced Prototyping Center by Associate Director for Instrumentation and Education James Nikkel; the HAYSTAC dark matter experiment by graduate student Kelly Backes; and the SIMPLE  levitating microspheres experiment by postdoctoral associate Fernando Do Rego Monteiro.  A gallery of photgraphs from the event is linked below.
