Wright Lab postdoctoral associate Jay Hyun Jo was selected as a “Rising Star in Experimental Particle Physics” at the University of Chicago (U. Chicago). Rising stars are chosen for their track record of research accomplishments and demonstrated contributions to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM; and are invited to present their research at the U. Chicago Rising Stars Symposia.
The U. Chicago Rising Stars Symposia are a platform for exceptional early-career scientists in the broad fields of soft and biological materials, quantum science and technology, and experimental particle physics to present their work.
Jo presented “MicroBooNE: Searching for nu-Physics with LArTPC”, at the Rising Stars in Experimental Particle Physics Symposium, held on September 22-23, 2021. The talk slides and recording can be found on the symposium’s Indico page.
