Science goal: Understand the behavior of nuclear matter under extremes of temperature and density.
WL involvement: Yale plays a critical role in preparations and data-taking, including trigger coordination, shift leadership, on-call detector expertise, and a diverse range of analyses. Caines was co-spokesperson of STAR from 2017-2023
Wright Lab researchers contributed to the American Physical Society (APS) Division of Nuclear Physics (DNP)’s Fall Meeting (DNP 2025) in October.
The program’s goal is to advance science policy in physics by building meaningful and lasting relationships with members of Congress and their staff.
Members of the Wright Lab community taught week-long workshops and led enrichment sessions for local high school students in Yale Pathways to Science.
