Biographical Sketch: Pirmin Finkel received his undergraduate degree in physics from LMU Munich. He then studied advanced topics in mathematics at TUM Munich before starting his master degree at ETH Zurich. He is working on a research project with the DUNE group at Wright Lab as part of his master program.
Research: Pirmin Finkels research focuses on quantum field theory and Beyond Standard Model processes. At Wright lab he uses machine learning techniques to search for a baryon number violating neutron decay in the upcoming DUNE detector data.
