Several members of the Wright Lab Relativistic Heavy Ion Group (RHIG) were among the >800 participants who traveled this November to Wuhan, China to present at the Quark Matter 2019 international conference on Ultra-relativistic Nucleus-Nucleus collisions. Postdoctoral associates Laura Havener and Saehanseul Oh and graduate student David Stewart were selected to give oral presentations on their work on ALICE and STAR; and graduate students Caitie Beattie, Hannah Bossi and Tong Liu presented posters. The photograph shows some of the current and past Yale group members who attended the conference. More details about the meeting and links to the group’s talks can be found in the above links and at the conference website here.
